Two esteemed staff members from the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS), Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohd Kasim and Associate Professor Dr. Zulkhibri Ismail, were invited as speakers at the 3rd International Conference on Recent Advances in Mathematics 2025 (CORAM 2025). The conference was held from 16-17 April 2025 organized by University of Education, Lahore, gathering researchers and academicians from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in mathematical sciences. Associate Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohd Kasim delivered a talk titled "Theoretical Analysis of Two-Phase Newtonian Fluid Flow Under Mixed Convection: Effects of Dust Particle Interaction on Velocity and Temperature Distributions." His presentation explored the dynamic behavior of fluid flow influenced by dust particle interactions, offering valuable insights into the complex interplay between velocity and thermal fields under mixed convection scenarios. Meanwhile, Associate Prof. Dr. Zulkhibri Ismail presented "A Mathematical Modelling on MHD Casson Fluid past an Impulsively Moving Inclined Plate." His work provided a detailed mathematical framework to study magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) effects on Casson fluid flow, contributing to a deeper understanding of non-Newtonian fluid behavior in engineering and industrial applications. Their participation not only reflects the high level of expertise within CMS but also demonstrates the Centre’s active role in contributing to global mathematical research. Both talks were well-received and sparked engaging discussions among participants. Author: Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohd Kasim
