Risk Based Inspection (RBI): API 581 Training 2022

Risk Based Inspection (RBI): API 581 Training for KANEKA’s RBI Team was held on 9 June 2022 at KANEKA Sdn. Bhd. Gebeng. The trainers are the RBI research team from Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norhayati Binti Rosli, Mr. Khairul Hafiz Bin Khairuldin and Dr. Noryanti Binti Muhammad. There were 8 participants from KANEKA’s RBI Team who joining this training. The training covers five modules which include the determination of Thinning, External Thinning, External CUI, External CLSCC and External CUI CLSCC Damage Factors.

We hope this training will benefit KANEKA in developing a scheme of inspection based on the knowledge of the risk of failure as well as performing risk analysis using the likelihood (probability) of failure due to flaws damage, deterioration and degradation.
