PSM successfully organised SiMD 2021
The event gathered a total of 23 participants and each of them was required to submit their pre-recorded presentation video, which was then played during the scheduled parallel sessions.
Two live-streamed knowledge-sharing sessions from two scholarly invited keynote speakers were featured to enliven the symposium under the theme "Empowering Wellbeing and Success in Research Degrees". Dr Aini Azeqa Binti Ma’rof, senior lecturer from UPM, delivered a plentiful speech entitled "How to Manage Stress in Postgraduate Life" in the morning session. Meanwhile, Associate Professor Dr Roslinazairimah Binti Zakaria, the Dean of the Centre for Diplomas and Foundations at UMP, delivered a fruitful speech entitled "Statistical Modelling of Rainfall Data" in the afternoon session.
Two best papers and two best presentation videos, as judged by wise academic judgers from CSM were announced during the closing ceremony.
