Pre-Briefing & Preparation of Work Based Learning for Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours – 2u2i Mode

A pre-briefing and preparation for 2u2i Mode of Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours, Center for Mathematical Sciences was conducted on Wednesday, 06 July 2022. This pre-briefing was delivered by Dr. Siti Zanariah Satari as the Head of Program (Data Analytics) to 58 Year 2 students of Data Analytics Programme and also attended by the lecturers.
This pre-briefing was held to provide a comprehensive explanation to all 58 students who will go for 2u2i Mode starting Semester I 2022/2023. Students will be at UMP for 2.5 years (5 semesters) from October 2020 to February 2023 and will continue with the placement at the industry workplace for 1 year (in semester 6 and 7) from March 2023 to February 2024 implementing the WBL approach. During the 6th semester, students will take three (3) elective courses by modular online learning and undertake Data Science Project II (DSP II) at industry workplace. Then, the students will undergo a complete Industrial Training in their 7th semester at industry workplace.
