Hebei University Delegation Embarks on Official Visit to UMPSA's Centre for Mathematical Sciences
A delegation from Hebei University conducted an official visit to the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), UMPSA. The visit took place from 25 to 26 June 2026 across both the UMPSA Gambang and Pekan campuses. The visiting delegation included Professor Hongya Gao, Dean of the College of Mathematics and Information Science, and Professor Qian Zhang, Associate Dean for Research from the same college.
A PSM and Hebei Meeting Session was held to discuss strategics regarding a Dual PhD Program and future research collaborations. The delegates also went on a tour of the PSM and UMPSA Pekan facilities, covering the PSM Building (Blocks Z, M, MSC) and UMPSA Pekan. The second day of the visit, 26 June 2026, took place at the Library Auditorium. It started with the Think Maths Talk (TMT) Colloquium, featuring presentations by Professor Hongya Gao and Professor Qian Zhang. The visit concluded with a souvenir presentation and a photography session at the Library Auditorium. This official visit marks a significant milestone in fostering international academic relations between UMPSA and Hebei University.
