The objective of attending this training is to gain exposure to the adoption of industry 4.0 among the local industries. The participants are introduced to the Raspberry Pi and Arduino hardware. The participants gained the opportunity to learn IoT and advanced technical knowledge and skill-set on how to carry out IoT projects that can be applied to the organisation.

MyReskill IoT Training is a four days virtual workshop conducted on 1-2/12/2021 and 8-9/12/2021, plus one week developing a Proof-of-Concept (POC) project. A UMP team consisting of Assoc Prof Dr Roslinazairimah Zakaria,  Ts Dr Norazaliza Mohd Jamil,  Dr Muhammad Azrin Ahmad and Dr Noryanti Muhammad developed a project entitled “IoT for Indoor Plant”. The aim of the project is to ensure an indoor plant is growing in optimal condition. Data gathered from the connected sensors are displayed using Node-RED to enable visualisation and remote monitoring. The moisture in the plant’s soil, temperature, light and humidity for the indoor environment can be observed from the readings on the dashboard.
