Industrial Talk "Python's Role in Data Analytics"

January 3, 2025 - The new year commenced with a dynamic and inspiring Industrial Talk for the BSD2213 Data Science Programming I course at the Library Auditorium, UMPSA Gambang. The session was led by two distinguished speakers from Abyres Enterprise Technology Sdn. Bhd., a valued business collaborator and key supporter of our Work-Based Learning program for the Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honour. Ts. Basheer Ali Majed, the Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Mohd Izhar Firdaus, the Director of Data & AI, shared their invaluable insights, setting an engaging tone for the year ahead.  

The talk focused on the practical applications of Python in the real world, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation in data analytics. As technology continues to advance rapidly, particularly in the digital domain, vast amounts of data are being generated and stored daily. This talk emphasized the importance of analyzing such data to extract valuable insights that drive informed, data-driven decisions, ultimately contributing to business success.

This session provided a unique opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of the intersection between academia and industry practices in data analytics.
